Video Tip: Start Your Own Cooking Club This Weekend With Sam's Club: Learn How To Make Family Meals For Less Than $15
Bentonville, AR (PRWEB) -- Have you ever been frustrated by how much time cooking a whole week's worth of meals seems to to take? Do you ever wish that it was easier to put together wholesome family meals? With the help of a few friends, you can start your own cooking club and discover how to save time and money by sharing the cost, preparation and fun of making dinner for the family.
This weekend, Sam's Club is hosting a series of "how-to" demonstrations at select clubs nationwide to teach everyday chefs and friends how to gather, prepare and share a week's worth of delicious and nutritious meals for about $3 to $4 per serving.
The in-club Sam's Cooking Club events will feature customized recipes that attendees can sample, as well as a free cooking club handbook with tips, shopping lists and suggestions on serving and storage. The handbook also includes a week's worth of recipes featuring a variety of protein from shrimp, sirloin steak, chicken enchiladas to pork tenderloin all specifically configured for sharing.
Nicole Aloni, professional chef and creator of the Sam's Club Cooking Club, designed the process to be simple. "I have found the best way to do this is to prepare seven main courses and seven side dishes," said Aloni. "Typically each of the cooking club members are going to make four or five recipes to serve 12."
"It's a wonderful way to connect with your friends, and, for under a hundred dollars you've got a week's worth of meals for a family of four," continued Aloni. "You just can't beat that."
Nicole suggests rotating responsibilities - one week, have one cooking club member go shopping for the ingredients and necessary supplies, while the others meet to prepare the kitchen. Also, Nicole highly recommends sealing the finished meals via a food saver, rather than plastic bags or plastic containers.
"A food saver allows the meal to last much longer than other methods of wrapping," states Aloni.

Lap Band Surgery - The Truth Behind Lap Band Weight Loss Surgery - Nurse Reveals!
One method of handling long term obesity and chronic fat and belly fat problems without resorting to liposuction is lap band surgery. Lap band surgery is an adjustable gastric band weight-loss procedure where a prosthetic band is placed around the upper part of the stomach. This creates a small pouch that limits the amount of food the patient eats. One difference in the early days between the LAP BAND system and the Swedish adjustable lap band is that it didn't have a self-closing mechanism. It had to be closed with sutures.
Understanding Lap Band Surgery And Adjustable Gastric Band Surgery
An American company, INAMED Health, designed the BioEnterics Lap-Band Adjustable Gastric Banding System, which was introduced in Europe in 1993. Now the Swedish adjustable gastric band differs from the Lap-Band because it wasn't designed for use with keyhole laparoscopic surgery. The lap band surgery or adjustable gastric band procedure is used in desperate situations and is performed with laparoscopic instruments, which generally means the surgery is minimally invasive with a short recovery time.
